At Daiwa Sales, we stand behind our premium fishing gear with the same confidence you have when casting with a perfectly balanced rod. We understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned – maybe the reel isn’t quite right for your fishing style, or the rod action doesn’t match your local conditions. That’s why we’ve created a straightforward returns process that’s as smooth as a well-oiled drag system.

Our Returns Promise

We offer a 15-day return policy from the date you receive your items. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll happily provide a refund or exchange for most products in original condition.

Please Note: For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following items:
  • Dubbing materials (used in fly tying)
  • Opened or used fishing lines (Airflo Fly Lines, etc.)
  • Any items that have been used or damaged after delivery

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Contact Us

Within 15 days of receiving your order, email our customer service team at [email protected] with your order number and details about the product you would like to return or exchange.

Step 2: Wait for Authorization

Our team will respond within 2 business days with a returns authorization number and instructions on where to send your item.

Step 3: Package and Ship

Please pack the item securely in its original packaging with all tags and accessories included. Include the returns authorization number clearly on the package.

Step 4: Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or exchange within 5 business days.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.

Refund Information

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect your return. The timing of when the refund appears in your account depends on your payment provider:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-5 business days after processing
  • PayPal: Usually within 24 hours of processing

Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Exchange Process

For exchanges, we’ll ship your replacement item once we receive and process your return. If the exchange item is of higher value, we’ll invoice you for the difference. For lower value items, we’ll refund the difference.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your gear arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund and cover return shipping costs.
